This position has responsibility for providing oversight and guidance of health information and adherence to legislative requirements and support the day-to-day compliance to health information legislation.

Minimum Requirements:

- Post-secondary diploma or degree in business administration, information management or a similar field
- Five or more years of practical experience in Information Management

**Responsibilities**:

- Support and provide operational insight in the development of standards, guidelines and best practices for Information Management and Health & Wellness program initiatives
- Manage the overall H&W Health Information Management Framework by maintaining and implementing the Health Information Specification document.
- Develop and maintain processes and procedures in accordance with the Governing Documents Framework and Enterprise Information Management standard processes and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with Enterprise Information Management to ensure alignment of health information practices with OEMS Element 11
- Provide oversight for the management of H&W program documentation (Site Services, Integrated Disability Management, Alcohol & Drug program, Occupational Hygiene) based on best practices. Implementation and sustainment of management system for program documentation
- Collaborate with stakeholders EH&S, Legal, I&PM and others to complete H&W Privacy Impact Assessments
- Execute access to health information requests enterprise-wide which includes performing health information discovery from all sources, as per Health Information Landscape (including digital and physical files enterprise-wide) and collaborating with Suncor Privacy Office to release health information
- Evaluate the need to perform redaction on health information requests as per applicable legislation. Collaborate with Legal for complex files as required.
- Responding to Alberta OIPC investigations and queries
- Responsible for the management of Cority and Health Information Management Content Suite retention folder structures.
- Execute governance and audit stewardship reports
- Work collaboratively with the other H&W program owners and team members to resolve issues and support their business areas.
- Work with highly sensitive and confidential information and ensure management of the information is in accordance with the Health & Wellness Privacy Standard and other H&W procedures.
- Representative of H&W at monthly Privacy Managers meeting. Provide input on privacy trends and provide suggested solutions to mitigate risks.
- Respond to EH&S inquiries submitted to enterprise-wide privacy intake line. Engage appropriate parties for response support, when necessary.
- Respond to and investigate privacy incidents within EH&S. Responsible for obtaining incident details and investigation of the incident. Review opportunities for mitigation and work collaboratively on corrective actions.

Location and other Key Details:

- You will work out of our Calgary head office, located in the Suncor Energy Centre at 150 - 6th Ave S.W.
- Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday
