We are always looking for amazing talent who can contribute to our growth and deliver results Geotab is seeking a Marketing Operations Specialist who will focus on facilitating the processing, tracking, and reconciling of all marketing vendor payments; managing the localization process for all marketing communications, and overseeing the department’s RBAC controls. **What you’ll do**:
As a Marketing Operations Specialist your key area of responsibility will be focused on marketing operations support. You will be highly skilled in understanding marketing processes related to expenditures, translation of marketing assets and communications, and internal marketing processes. You will provide knowledge and expertise in helping to identify and put into practice standardized processes and guidelines that will assist in achieving greater operational efficiencies. To be successful in this role you require a good understanding of invoice handling and reconciliation, global/ regional localization requirements, and overall marketing administration.

**How you’ll make an impact**:

- Work with internal teams (eg. Marketing, Accounts Payable, Localization) to ensure Marketing functions’ invoice processing / reconciliation and localization processes are operating effectively and efficiently; Identify process gaps and recommend opportunities for improvements.
- Act as the first point of contact / reviewer of all Marketing invoices to ensure accuracy for processing and reconciliation.
- Proactively deliver training and support to Marketing employees on the invoice process and reconciliation.
- Own, manage and be Marketing’s champion for the RBAC administration for the entire department, to ensure proper access to all required systems, based on individual marketer’s roles and responsibilities.
- Be the expert on the localization process for all marketing content and communications; tracking of project progress; taking action to help reduce bottlenecks and address workflow concerns within Marketing teams.
- Actively lead the set up and maintenance of the central database of Marketing contracts to enable quick access and review for users.
- Be a trusted source to assist employees with questions and guide them on departmental processes.
- Support Geotab global strategic initiatives.

**What you’ll bring to this role**:

- 3-5 years of experience in marketing operations, financial administration or a similar role.
- Specialized knowledge or expertise is required.
- Experience working within a technical or engineering organization/knowledge of the high-technology industry is an asset.
- High accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.
- Able to work well under pressure and respond to fast changing priorities and deadlines.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Understand general marketing timelines and processes with respect to creative development, MarCom, communications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal relationship building skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to problem-solve to well-judged decisions.
- A strong team-player with the ability to engage with all levels of the organization.
- Technical competence using software programs, including, but not limited to, Google Suite for business (Sheets, Docs, Slides).
- Entrepreneurial mindset and comfortable in a flat organization.
- Post-Secondary Diploma/Degree or equivalent experience required.
