Processing Technician

8.5 hour shifts.

**Schedule**: Days, Afternoons, & Midnights rotation. 2 weeks of each shift.

**Wage**:Based on experience

**Must Have**:Minimum 5 years of experience in an injection molding environment and own set of basic tools

**Qualifications**:

- Demonstrate knowledge of processing injection molds and end of arm tooling
- Set up and setting of processing parameters of injection molding machines
- Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on robotic systems or components
- Knowledge of robot end of arm tooling
- Support Maintenance dept.
- Perform the Set Up Technician’s essential functions as and when required
- Perform start up process on injection molding machines and liaison with Quality department for completion of first off approval process
- Problem solve with Quality Inspector any high scrap or quality concerns
- Starts and shuts down machine operation as required
- Ensure all safety practices are followed and maintained
- Record and report to management any downtime, scrap, manpower issues, and equipment failures
- Clean, store, and organize all tools in designated areas
- Complete all changeover reports as required.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 5 years of experience in an injection molding environment
- High level of competency injection molding and knowledge of tooling
- General understanding of machinery and processes.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Proficient verbal written communication skills
- Previous Supervisory experience an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $26.00-$40.00 per hour
