PARTS COORDINATOR
**Location**: 2138 Eagle St N, Cambridge, Ontario
**Position Type**: Full-time - Permanent
**Reporting**: Equipment Manager
**Hours**: Monday to Friday, 3:00pm to 12:00am
**Start Date**: TBA
**Responsibilities**:
- You will receive and direct vehicles to the facility tip floor, and once the material is dumped, inspect the loads for contamination to support material processing.
- Review, understand and complete all auditing requirements, which include collecting samples to be shipped out, weighing, labelling and storing samples for pick up, taking both pictures and video of the auditing process
- Taking these samples will require small equipment operating experience (skidsteer and forklift)
- Working with the scale staff to understand which vehicles require auditing
- Complete understanding and execution of the required Hand Signals for spotting vehicles
- Ensure the outside grounds around the tip floor and other areas are clean and always organized, which will include seasonal property maintenance.
- Open bags of containers to be dumped back onto the container tip floor
- Inspect and remove obvious contamination from loads;
- Comply with all MWSI policies, Standard Operating Procedures and all Health and Safety Regulations and Policies
- Inspecting the workplace for hazardous and/or potentially hazardous conditions
- Liaise with supervisors, drivers, haulers, contractors and equipment operators in a professional and team-oriented manner
- You will be required to fill in and/or assist other positions as required for any vacations or sick calls, in all other called upon responsibilities
**Requirements**:
- In this position you will be required to stand for long periods of time and be exposed to the different weather elements.
- You must be a team player and function safely around heavy equipment.
- General safe working habits are a must.
- Heavy lifting is required.
- You may be required to work extended hours, including weekends and holidays so your own transportation is an asset.
