As the Payroll Specialist, you will need to be highly organized and demonstrate the ability to multi-task, probe, analyze data to solve customer problems. Be prepared to work with a dynamic team of professionals who deliver the highest level of service to our internal customers from a payroll administrative perspective. Responsibilities include the payroll processing for multiple Valmet locations throughout USA and Canada by maintaining employee records, ensuring the payroll data is collected, inputted, processed, balanced and verified in accordance with the specifications.
What you’ll need
To be successful in this role, you ideally posess a vocational diploma or collegial degree in a related field combined with 3 years of relevant experience. If you have a payroll designation, that is a bonus Your technical experience includes knowledge of payroll systems and automated timekeeping systems. If you are familiar with ADP, Kronos or e-time, it will be an asset. Finally, you communicate well in French and English, work well in a team environment and at ease with meeting deadlines.

En tant que spécialiste de la paie, vous devrez être très organisé et démontrer votre capacité à jongler plusieurs tâches, à enquêter et à analyser des données pour résoudre les problèmes des clients internes. Soyez prêt à travailler avec une équipe dynamique et professionnelle qui offre le plus haut niveau de service à nos employés du point de vue administratif de la paie. Les responsabilités comprennent le traitement de la paie pour plusieurs sites aux États-Unis et au Canada en conservant les dossiers des employés, en veillant à ce que les données de paie soient amassées, saisies, traitées, harmonisées et vérifiées conformément aux spécifications.
Ce dont vous aurez besoin
Pour réussir dans ce rôle, vous possédez idéalement un diplôme d'études professionnelles ou collégiales dans un domaine connexe combiné à 3 ans d'expérience pertinente. Si vous avez une désignation de paie, c'est un bonus Votre expérience technique comprend la connaissance des systèmes de paie et des systèmes de chronométrage automatisés. Si vous connaissez ADP, Kronos ou e-time, ceci sera un atout. Aussi. Il faut bien communiquer en français et en anglais en plus de bien travailler en équipe et respecter les délais.
