**Position**: Intermediate Project Administrator
**Client**: Federal Government Client
**Location**:Onsite (Moodie Dr. Ottawa, ON)
**Duration**: 12 months (**Two** - 12 month extension)
**Language**: English
**Background**:Our valued public sector clients are seeing the services of an intermediate Project Administrator to support a project that is aimed at reviewing newly modernized and implemented policies and their functions against the previous policy states. This project will also include the implementation of new policies and procedures to further modernize the clients framework
**Qualifications**:
- 2 years experience as a project administrator supporting large teams
- Bachelors or masters degree in project management
- PMP/Prince2
- Extensive experience in Microsoft office suite
- 2 or more roles, projects, programs and/or activities, within the last six (6) years providing support with entry, maintenance, and quality assurance of project data.
**Responsibilities/Deliverables**:
- Providing clerical administrative and technical support as required to a project team.
- Assisting in performing such tasks as setting up and maintaining project tools, databases, documentation, and records.
- Assisting the project lead in tracking and updating project details (e.g., project activity schedule, status reports on survey response rates, and deliverables) to ensure project is delivered on time.
- Assisting in the preparation, coordination, and distribution of documentation for survey administration (e.g., printing, packaging, and mailing of study materials, including consent forms, instructions, and postcards).
- Performing tasks using administrative, presentation, and spreadsheet software (e.g., Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Publisher, and Excel).
- Preparing graphs, charts, and tables for research reports and presentations.
- Maintaining project details (e.g., contact details, status reports, published deliverables).
- Performing quantitative and qualitative data entry and/or data merging tasks.
- Performing basic quantitative and qualitative data analysis (e.g., mean, mode, standard deviation, frequencies).
**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
**Salary**: $40.00-$50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
