**Duties and responsabilities include;**

Menu development for our 65 seat French Bistro, planning of special event menus.

This is a working chef position and chef will work on the line in addition to the following;
Assist in staffing and development of kitchen brigade together with Sous Chef

Run the kitchen while maintaining operational standards, best practices as well as food safety.

Chef is accountable for supporting standards of cleanliness, timing, organization, production. food procrument and consistency.

Ensure a high level of cleanliness and repair of the kitchen by supervising cleaning, schedualing and equipment maintenance.

Manage the daily labor cost in the kitchen and accurately conduct scheduled inventories. Maintain an appropriate food cost.

**The Successful candadite will possess**:
Technical or Culinary School is required. Four years experience as Sous Chef or comperable role. Requires effective communication skills both written and oral.

The ability to work independently and take initiative, work effectively in an environment that embraces teamwork and possess a strong will to succeed.

**Salary**: $62,000.00-$64,000.00 per year
