**Job Summary**:
Reporting to the Director, Mining Services, the Inventory Manager oversees the organization’s stock levels, working in collaboration with the sales and engineering teams to ensure that inventory is aligned with sales forecasting and future service needs. Their goal is to optimize inventory turnover while minimizing costs and maintaining sufficient stock to meet our customer demand.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage inventory levels in coordination with the forecast from the sales and engineering teams.
- Analyze inventory data and use historical sales trends to collaborate with the sales team to identify trends and forecast demand and budget.
- In conjunction with the Director, Engineering Services, utilize ERP system to create & implement material planning management processes.
- In collaboration with the sales and engineering teams, establish and maintain territory’s pricing for inventory products based on updated inventory costs.
- Maintain purchasing work orders, review costing, and receive the parts in the inventory.
- Use the approved vendor list to review vendor’s performance, update, and maintain the list.
- Collaborate with purchasing and help execute purchases for consumable inventory parts needed in work orders.
- Responsible for performing annual inventory audit and counts. Verify discrepancies and work with the accounting team to determine how to report discrepancies.
- Responsible for maintaining the appearance / cleanliness of the warehouse and yard.
- Comply with ISO 9001 and OH&S standards.
- Provide regular inventory reports to management.
- Any other tasks as required.

**Qualifications**:

- 5+ years of inventory management experience. A mix of education and experience may be considered.
- Experience working in the mining industry would be considered an asset.
- A bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration is considered an asset.
- Supply Chain Management Profession (SCMP) designation is considered an asset.
- Experience utilizing inventory tracking systems and ERP systems.

**Skills & Abilities**:

- Prioritizes communication and communicates information clearly and quickly with team members and suppliers.
- Keen attention to detail, ensuring precision in tracking inventory levels and conducting audits to prevent discrepancies.
- Customer and team focused - has a strong desire to go above and beyond to meet the needs of internal and external customers and collaborate with the sales and engineering teams.
- Flexible in adjusting to changing demands and circumstances. Curious and analytical and has a strong focus on continuous improvement.

**Working Conditions**:

- Office and warehouse setting - split your time between an office for planning and analysis and the warehouse for hands-on inventory management.
- This role may require some physical activity, such as walking through the warehouse, lifting of materials, operating forklift, etc.
- Team collaboration - work closely with the sales and engineering teams and warehouse staff.
