Il est guidé par des pratiques et des politiques professionnelles qui sont façonnées par son rôle. Le poste dispose d'une autonomie modérée, nécessitant un niveau élevé de jugement opérationnel.

Project Manager responsible for delivery of after sales services to major Utilities. Senior project manager is responsible for service project delivery, warranty, management of project related activities and resources, profit & loss accountability and customer relations and satisfaction.

Impacts approaches, projects and programs in the functional area or affected business organization and ways of working. Impacts quality, efficiency and effectiveness of own team. Has significant input into priorities. Guided by professional practices and policies that are shaped by the role. The role has moderate autonomy, requiring high levels of operational judgment.

**Rôles et responsabilités**
- Projets non clés en main ou projets portant uniquement sur des produits ou des équipements. Responsable de la supervision du projet et de la direction directe ou indirecte et/ou de la gestion des ressources du projet pour les projets de petite et moyenne taille (taille par rapport à la société GE) qui peuvent inclure des équipements uniquement, des suites de produits ou des projets non clés en main.
- Il s'agit généralement d'un responsable de première ligne de professionnels ou d'un responsable de deuxième ligne d'un département professionnel. Développe des connaissances spécialisées dans sa discipline. Servir de ressource en matière de meilleures pratiques et de qualité. Il est au courant des derniers développements techniques dans son domaine. Contribue à l'élaboration de la stratégie et de la politique et veille à ce que les résultats soient atteints dans son domaine de responsabilité.
- A une connaissance approfondie des meilleures pratiques et de la manière dont son propre domaine s'intègre aux autres ; a une connaissance pratique de la concurrence et des facteurs qui la différencient sur le marché.
- Fait preuve de discernement pour prendre des décisions ou résoudre des tâches ou des problèmes modérément complexes dans les domaines de la gestion des opérations et des produits, de la fabrication, de la technologie ou de l'ingénierie. Adopte un nouveau point de vue sur les solutions existantes. Utiliser l'expérience et l'expertise techniques pour l'analyse des données afin d'étayer les recommandations. Utilise de multiples sources internes et des sources externes limitées en dehors de sa propre fonction pour prendre des décisions.
- Agit comme une ressource pour les collègues moins expérimentés. Peut diriger de petits projets présentant des risques et des besoins en ressources modérés. Explique les informations difficiles ou sensibles ; s'efforce de parvenir à un consensus. Développer des compétences en matière de persuasion.

**Qualifications requises**
- Pour les postes situés en dehors des États-Unis, ce poste requiert une expérience significative en matière de gestion de projet et de gestion de projet. Le niveau de connaissances est comparable à un master délivré par une université ou un établissement d'enseignement supérieur accrédité (ou à un diplôme de fin d'études secondaires assorti d'une expérience pertinente).
- Pour les postes aux États-Unis - Master délivré par une université ou un établissement d'enseignement supérieur accrédité (ou diplôme de fin d'études secondaires / GED avec au moins 6 ans d'expérience dans le(s) groupe(s)/fonction(s) de la famille d'emplois).
