**Duties and Responsibilities**:
Reporting to the Director of Major Gifts and Strategic Partnerships in close collaboration with the
Vice-President, Research and International and with guidance from the Senior Corporate Relations Officer, this position is responsible for corporate engagement to activate Holistic
Integrated Partnerships and sponsorships at the major gifts level in support of a variety of
identified high priorities and critical special projects across campus.

**Qualifications**:
The incumbent must possess the following qualifications:

- Knowledge of and experience with corporate engagement best practices in a post-secondary environment
- Knowledge of the ever-changing funding climate with regards to corporate partnerships, sponsorships and philanthropic gifts
- Demonstrated track record and experience in university collaboration and revenue generation
- Knowledge of the university’s strategic priorities and goals as well as policies and procedures
- Knowledge of communications, public relations, marketing, and social media processes
- Demonstrated track record of success in the higher education sector related to corporate engagement including Advancement, Research, and co-operative education
- Knowledge of office productivity software and databases, internet browsers and search engines, discipline-specific software, enterprise software and technology devices
- Knowledge of cultural competency and diversity in a business context

**Education and Experience**:
The above is normally acquired through:

- Completion of bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of four years of previous relevant experience
