The Manager, Cyber & Information Security Operations oversees and leads a team of cybersecurity professionals, including outsourced service providers, in maintaining the security infrastructure, monitoring threats, and responding to incidents. This position plays a crucial role in safeguarding Prospera’s digital assets and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the credit union’s information systems.

The role requires overseeing a 7/24/365 operation that is focused on quickly detecting and appropriately responding to cybersecurity events that happen within the Prospera and supplier technology environment. As a key member of the Prospera Incident Response Team, the role is essential in responding appropriately to cyber and operational events and ensuring cross-functional teams execute a Vulnerability Management program. Vulnerability Management determines the amount of cyber risk Prospera has present in its environment and works to ensure that risk is maintained at an acceptable level.

The Manager, Cyber & Information Security Operations oversees the integration of a Threat Intelligence program, threat hunting, and “red/purple” teaming. The position is also responsible for working collaboratively with other IT Operations teams for incident response, service management and Disaster Recovery / Business Continuity Management / Table-Top programs. The role communicates between and among Enterprise Risk, Privacy, Legal, Corporate Communications, Digital Banking, and other connected Third Parties such as Central 1 and Collabria in the provision of Prospera services. The communication can be informative in advance of an incident, directive and decision making during an incident, and educational in other times.

**What you bring**
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in information security roles, primarily in Security Operations.
- Proven experience with managing security incident response programs.
- Experience with managing vulnerability management programs
- Experience with phishing campaigns, threat intelligence programs and Security Operations Centers
- Experience maintaining common cloud security services.
- First-hand knowledge of Microsoft Defender, including APT, Splunk SIEM, Varonis, Rapid7
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and industry standards
- Familiarity with security frameworks and regulations (e.g., NIST, ISO27000, CIS Critical Security Controls, etc.)
- Proficiency in using security tools and technologies, such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners
- At least one of CISSP or CISM,certifications
- OSCP, SANS and ISACA certifications are also preferred
