The Edmonton EXPO Centre is looking for** part-time Event Service Crew I**, who will be vital to executing the events coming through the venue. The Event Service Crew, Level I, is responsible for preparing and converting the venue for events and aiding with the day-to-day building and grounds operational needs.

**Note**:This role requires shift availability in the early morning, late evening, overnight, weekends, and some holidays.**

- Providing general labour for the conversion of the venue for various events.
- Set up and take down chairs, tables, other event seating, stages, etc.
- Basic exterior maintenance/ gardening, weeding, watering plants, snow removal and garbage collection.
- Operating and maintaining equipment such as forklifts, lawnmowers, and other winter and summer landscaping equipment for venue operations.
- Inspecting and maintaining inventory pertaining to venue operations.
- Inspecting and maintaining venue exterior/interior walkways, pathways and other areas.
- Possess a valid Alberta Class 5 divers license (abstract must be provided upon request).
- Experience working in fast-paced environments and can adapt to change and take direction appropriately.
- Can lift 22.5 kg repetitively and work in all weather conditions.
- Use full range of manual dexterity (i.e., sitting, squatting, bending, kneeling, walking, and lifting)
- Ability to meet the operational shift needs, including early morning, late evening, overnight, weekends and some holidays.
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Must be able to work with deadlines.
- Maintain a safe working environment.
- Comply with all health, safety & fire regulations.
