**Chez Doris** is looking for an overnight intervention worker to ensure that every woman who walks through our doors feels safe, respected, and welcomed and that services are consistent with Chez Doris' mission: to welcome vulnerable women into the night shelter and provide them with clothing, hygiene products, meals and access to social, recreational and health services. They also provide active listening when needed, all without judgment.

**Availability**:From 8:30 pm to 8:30 am, a minimum of 2 nights per week.

**Salary**:between 19$ and 22$ per hour + 2$ bonus per hour

**If you have**:

- Relevant education or training in social work, psychology, or social sciences;
- Solid experience working in a similar organization/community;
- Extensive knowledge of homelessness, mental health and substance abuse issues and resources;
- An interest in indigenous cultures and traditions, or relevant experience working with indigenous populations.

**And if you are**:

- Bilingual (English and French).;
- You have an exceptional talent for working with people;
- An ability to remain calm, focused, and attentive to detail and ;
- Able to multi-task and adapt quickly.

*Bilingualism is mandatory for this position as 70% of Chez Doris' clientele is English speaking.

**This position is for you**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 23-34,5 per week

**Salary**: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
