**General Scope of Duties**:
Manager at E.C. Power & Lighting Ltd you will be responsible for full cycle management and execution of electrical and utility construction projects. You will also be assisting in the preparation and documentation of the Estimating and Material/Subcontracts procurement processes for all necessary electrical aspects of the project. You will work closely with Ownership and our team of Project Managers and Estimators to make a positive impact and play and integral role in the efficient execution of work.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage electrical projects to ensure they are completed efficiently, on time and on budget.
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings/schematics, standards and specifications
- Manage Changes Orders
- Excellent organizational and planning skills and ability to manage multiple Projects
- Ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and budget
- Procurement of Project materials, approving invoices and job costs
- Coordinating the Project, Resources and Equipment with Supervisors & Foreman to meet project goals and performance expectations, in an effective and efficient manner.
- Build and maintain a positive working relationship with owners and owner’s agents by becoming familiar with project and owner proposal requirements.
- Develop & maintain relationships with key subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Assisting other Project Managers/Estimators with Daily Tasks as Required
- Ability to travel for Field Site Visits and Meetings

**Experience & Skills**:

- P.Eng or CET preferred.
- 309A Electrical License an asset
- 3 or more years of proven project management and construction experience.
- General understanding of Utility, Electrical and Construction
- Valid Drivers License
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and with mínimal supervision
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office [Excel], Computer Skills and Technically Savy.
