- The City of North Vancouver is the urban core of the beautiful North Shore and has a long-term vision to be “The Healthiest Small City in the World”, with five key priorities to be a City for People, a Liveable City, a Vibrant City, a Connected City and a Prosperous City.- The Strategic and Corporate Services Department - Information Technology Division, requires a temporary full-time Systems Analyst, for approximately two (2) years.**Responsibilities**
- Reporting to the Manager, Application Services, you will be involved in complex analytical and programming work in response to a wide range of user requirements, encompassing all phases of projects (i.e. analysis, documentation, system design, programming, implementation, and support). You will analyze and evaluate data and information for existing and proposed systems and procedures, recommend and develop logical solutions for problems, act as project lead on intermediate-level projects, and work with business leaders on a regular basis.**Requirements**:
**Compensation**
- $41.16 to $48.64 hour- (Pay Grade 26 - January 2021 rates)**Hours of Work**
- Required hours may consist of any 7 consecutive hours between 7:00am and 11:00pm, Monday to Friday, and may also include an occasional shift on weekends or evenings. The City of North Vancouver currently works on a compressed work schedule with one scheduled day off (Monday or Friday) in approximately each three-week scheduling cycle.**Additional Information**
- For temporary full-time positions of eight (8) months or longer, a City employee who is successful on the posting will have the right to revert to their former position.-
