We seek a dynamic Systems Analyst/ Business Analyst interested in a long-term career opportunity with us in Vancouver , with the flexibility of working 2-3 days from the office.


Here's a snapshot of what we're looking for:


Experience: 4+ years as Business Analyst, 6+ years in IT

Rate: CA $52/hr.

Opportunity for permanent conversion: Yes, atleast after 3 months

The successful candidate will be involved in software configurations, workflow implementation and maintenance. Coordinates with engineering/systems and professional services team to develop the most cost-effective solution that meets business expectations.



A day in the life:


  • Supports Business Analyst on functional requirements with understanding of process, data and system flows to facilitate design decisions within a functional domain.
  • Participates/Leads design discussions with understanding of process, data and system flows to facilitate design decisions within a functional domain.
  • Strong sense of ownership with the ability to drive clarity in complex and ambiguous scenarios
  • Proficient with systems-thinking and able to articulate them to various groups across the organization.
  • Owns making configuration within the selected platforms teams to resolve complex and severe technical issues.
  • Support one or more moderately to highly complex business processes
  • Undertakes production support and incident management responsibilities
  • Best practices around data standards, policies, and procedures
  • Engages with solution architect and engineers to design/configure solutions
  • Supports/involves in ensuring quality of delivery processes
  • End-to-end testing as a SME and supports business stakeholders during UAT.


Qualifications:


  • Strong work experience in Information Technology or a related field.
  • Expert level understanding of software development practices and project life cycles
  • Experience with large-scale systems/application implementation.
  • 4+ years as Systems or Business Systems Analyst; 6+ years in IT, retail environment is an asset.
  • Configuring, maintaining, and supporting complex software systems, including production support
  • Experience setting up support processes, monitoring/alerting/dashboarding for production software systems and interpreting telemetry
  • Any experience with CBX Software would be a big plus
  • Good understanding of development platforms (packaged and/or custom) within a functional domain of technological trends and uses this knowledge to bring solutions to business units supported to enhance the enterprise’s competitive edge.
