Lakewood Animal Hospital is looking for a passionate Veterinary Exam Room Assistant to join our busy, small animal practice. The hours for this position are Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm or 9:00am-6:00pm, depending on the day. (May be asked to work the occasional Saturday or Thursday evening)

We need an energetic, well organized, ambitious person to join our team. Duties include: checking clients in and out of appointments, assisting veterinarians in the exam room, client communications, cleaning exam rooms, collecting payments and scheduling appointments.

Days can be very busy so the exam room assistant must be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and computer knowledge are essential to this position. The ability to multitask, work independently, as well as with a team, are requirements. Applicant must be willing and able to perform various reception duties and be flexible in work scheduling.
