We are looking for a Mental Health Care Navigator based out of Vancouver, BC who values the professional satisfaction of delivering thoughtful, compassionate care to the highest standards. Reporting to the Sr. Director, Clinical Operations, the Mental Health Care Navigator (MHCN) supports all aspects of the mental health function and works in close collaboration with the clinical team to manage the delivery of clinical services. The MHCN is an advocate and navigator, delivering thoughtful, compassionate care of the highest standard. This role requires efficiency, up to date knowledge of the mental health field/resources, clinical setting intake process/EMR proficiency, and professional/clinical judgement.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assessing the clients' emotional and mental health needs through interviews, identified concerns and screening results of mental health related interventions both internally and externally.
- Collaborating with clients to customize third party treatment options that may include individual counseling, group therapy, assessments, community supports or resources.
- Helping clients navigate through different stages of change and promoting client engagement for the recommended mental health interventions.
- Working collaboratively within the interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to create meaningful client care, including liaison and case management tasks.
- Building a network of public and private mental health professionals and external treatment resources for the company.
- Educating clients on the Company’s “n of 1” approach to clinical care including precision medicine, pharmacogenetics, and differential diagnosis in mental health.
- Other duties as assigned and agreed.

**What you bring**:

- Master of Counselling Psychology degree or equivalent (MSW) from an accredited institution.
- Experience as a practicing psychotherapist working with clients in all stages of life.
- Must be a Canadian Certified Counseller (CCC) or equivalent member in good standing of a related regulatory body Registered Clinical Counsellor, (RCC).
- Passionate about helping individuals navigate through mental health challenges and wellbeing.

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
