This position is 40 hours a week, regular business hours Monday to Friday. This position is split between responsibilities related to order filling, packaging, stocking, and shipment preparation in a modern industrial environment. You will be part of an integrated team preparing orders for shipment to our diverse range of customers both domestically and internationally. This is an engaging job that sees multiple different assignments and tasks each day.

This job can act as a gateway to other positions within our organization as employees can expect to have access to advancement oriented on-the-job training in the areas of small batch manufacturing, along with some functional cross training under the supervision and tutelage of the plant or production manager.

We are a small enough company that the efforts and ideas of an individual can have a measurable impact on our results. We are flexible in terms of compensation and we can offer advancement opportunities to individuals that demonstrate the ability to drive our continued success.

**Duties will include**:

- Packaging a diverse range of non-hazardous products on both filling lines
- Preparing containers and packaging materials for use at filling lines and filling stations
- Packing containers and cases onto pallets
- Management of stock in warehouse as directed including using a pallet jack (and a forklift if/when certified)
- Loading and unloading of pallets
- Loading and unloading of trucks using a powered pallet jack
- Maintaining a clean, safe work environment
- Other duties as assigned

**In addition, the following would be considered assets**:

- Packaging or order fulfillment experience
- Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Forklift training or experience
- E-commerce, courier or mailroom experience
- TDG training, along with shipping and receiving experience
- WHMIS, addition safety training and/or experience as part of a JHSC
- Positive references from a past or current employer

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
