**Retail Sales Production Associate**

**PURPOSE OF THE POSITION**

The Retail Production Associate will primarily focus on working in the Production area and stocking products as needed. This is a part-time position, with four-hour shifts each day (Monday through Friday) available on a contract basis for three months, from October to December. The Retail Sales Production Associate will report to the Store Manager.

**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- **Primary Activities**:_
- The Production Sales Production Associate will primarily work in the Clothing &
Houseware departments and other departments as needed.
- Collaborate with team to achieve department goals
- Train new volunteers as needed in the area where they work
- Reinforce quality standards
- Sort clothes/housewares etc.
- Keep the working area clean and free of debris
- Put out clothes rails, houseware, etc., on the sales floor
- Provide outstanding customer service

**- **Performs other duties as assigned to meet business needs

**SKILLS AND ABILITIES**
- Understand fast-paced Retail Sales & Production
- Understand all federal and provincial legislation applicable to volunteer

organizations, including employment standards, human rights, occupational

health and safety, charities etc.;
- Effective verbal and written communication

**Experience**
- Retail experience
- Experience with non-profit/ voluntary sector would be considered an asset.

**Working Conditions**
- Report to the Store Manager
- Ability to be on your feet for extended periods and lift heavy items

**Personal Attributes**

The Production Sales Production Associate must maintain strict confidentiality in performing his/her duties. Production Sales Production Associate must also demonstrate the following personal attributes:

- Demonstrate sound work ethics

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: Up to $17.20 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
