Water Treatment Chemistry Specialist

In this role, you will:

- Design and execute experiments in the Trojan laboratory, using instruments such as Total Organic Carbon analyzers and UV-Vis spectroscopy.
- Conduct critical literature review of published research on water treatment processes such as UV-ozone.
- Respond to questions about diverse chemical issues such as corrosion, chemical compatibility, etc.

Are you qualified? The essential requirements of the job include:

- This chemistry specialist role requires a Master’s, or Ph.D. in chemistry, physics, engineering, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree plus work experience can be a substitute for advanced degrees.
- Experience in devising and executing experimental work including:

- Design of experiments
- Data review, analysis, and statistics

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

- Chemical compatibility assessment of polymer materials
- Analytical methods such as LCMS/MS, HPLC
- Ultrapure water systems (ion exchange etc.)
- Advanced oxidation processes such as UV-Ozone
- Pilot-scale treatment systems
- UV-Vis spectroscopy
- Total Organic Carbon analyzers
