**The Team**:
The U.S RMBS team is part of the broader Structured Finance Group at S&P Global Ratings. The team assigns ratings and publishes research commentaries for the use of Residential Mortgage-Backed Securities (RMBS) investors.

**Responsibilities**:
Work in conjunction with, and at the direction of, senior analysts in preparing necessary information to support the ratings process;
Work with RMBS analytic software and data vendors (e.g. INTEX);
Prepare material for internal and external presentations and publications;
Assist in the collection and analysis of data on special projects;
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement these through the use of organizational/technical skills.
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $58,300.00 to $115,850.00. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.
**What We’re Looking For**:
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in finance or economics.
2+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in the mortgage market
Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to work with financial models and financial data
Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication, presentation, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
Basic proficiency in MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) is essential.
Advanced Excel and programming skills (R, Python, VBA) are preferred.
Strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize competing tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain the accuracy of data.
