SSR Mining - Seabee Gold Operation (SGO) is hiring for an Operator, Water Treatment Plant.

About Your New Role:
Reporting to either the Supervisor, Environment, the Operator, Water Treatment Plant, will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Seabee Potable and Santoy Potable and Santoy 8 WTP. The Operator, Water Treatment Plant will coordinate upcoming work with the Supervisor, Environment (Water Treatment).

Your Key Responsibilities:
- Accountable for potable water treatment and wastewater treatment operations and employee safety.- Accountable for working with appropriate PPE, tools and equipment.- Reports to Environment Supervisor (Water Treatment) for the safe and efficient operation of the Seabee Potable, Santoy Potable and Santoy 8 Water Treatment Plant.- Coordinate with the Mill, Maintenance and Electrical department, submit work orders and/ or notifications to ensure the water treatment plant equipment is adequately maintained.- Work closely with other departments to keep the Potable and wastewater plants running smoothly and minimize down time.

Your Knowledge and Skills:
- Demonstrated ability to progress the range of certification levels.- Good communication and problem-solving skills.- A positive and proactive attitude towards safety is essential.- The ability to work both independently and within a team in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment with the utmost professionalism, discretion and confidentiality is essential.

Your Education and Experience:
- Class 2 Saskatchewan Operator Certification in Water Treatment.- Post-secondary education in a relevant science or engineering discipline is an asset.

About Our Working Conditions:
This position has a schedule of 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off at our remote camp which you will be required to fly in fly out with pick up points in Saskatoon, Prince Albert and La Ronge.
