**Job Overview**
Aaron Machine Shop is looking for a Quality Control Manager to join a growing team and a growing business. Over the past two years, Aaron Machine Shop has made significant investments towards improving their Quality Management System. ISO 9001:2015 registration, a new QC room, and a CMM are just a few of the commitments Aaron Machine Shop has made. Aaron Machine Shop is now looking for a Quality Control Manager to maintain and improve an established Quality Management System.

Aaron Machine Shop is a family owned, independent machine shop that does so much more than just machining. Metal processing, welding, fabrication, manual machining, CNC machining, millwrighting, forming, and repair services all fall under the Aaron Machine Shop suite of capabilities.

**Responsibilities**
- Inspection and testing of machined and fabricated components including first article, in-progress, and final inspections.
- Create quality control plans for individual jobs.
- Conduct non-conformity and corrective action investigations and complete required reporting on product deficiencies.
- Read and interpret engineered drawings/blueprints.
- Maintain QA monitoring programs, controls, and related QC test programs.
- Maintain calibration of quality control equipment.
- Promote and advocate quality achievement and performance improvement across the organization.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with local, provincial, national, and international standards and legislation.
- Create and maintain quality control documentation and develop quality control forms.
- Communicate the results of inspections for corrective actions.
- Recommend improvement measures to the production process to ensure quality control.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum five years background in machining and fabrication
- Experience with ISO 9001: 2015 quality management systems including the audit process
- Experience with CWB programs considered an asset.
- Able to develop, refine, and promote high quality standards
- Proficient with Office 365 including Outlook, Word, Excel
- Detail oriented, experience dealing with tight tolerance components
- Does well in a team environment
- Capable of multitasking and managing competing priorities
- Motivated and self-directed
- Ability to operate forklift & pallet jack.
- Some heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
- Valid drivers license.

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week
