Medical Office Assistant

Job Summary:
**Job description**
**Responsibilities**:
- Patient reception, check-in and rooming
- Maintain patients 'account including demographics and medications
- Preform BP, ECG and Holter hookups (Training Provided)
- Support clinic physician and Team to deliver best patient care
- Maintain examination rooms and work areas clean
- Sterilizing medical equipment and sanitizing designated areas.
- Follow departmental and clinic policies and procedures
- Ensure patient privacy and safety at all times
**Requirements**:
- Relevant experience is an asset.
- Proven organizational and critical thinking skills
- Ability to prioritize work in an efficient and organized manner is essential
- Demonstrated ability to work responsibly in an interdisciplinary team environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills
- Computer Skills
- Demonstrated ability to accept assigned or delegated functions.
- Commitment to quality patient care, strong work ethics, and continuing professional development
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology related to Cardiology is an asset.
- Criminal record check
- Must be legal to work in Canada
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
