The Blue Mountain Resort (BMR) Marketing Associate - Co-Op assists with marketing and communications tasks to help promote Blue. The Marketing Associate - Co-Op works within the Marketing Department reporting to the Manager, Public Relations. The Marketing Associate - Co-Op assists with copywriting, content creation and storytelling, social media, events, and other marketing activities all while having fun at Blue.

**Full-Time Hours - Seasonal (May-September)**

**Wage: $18.00/hr**

**WHAT WILL I BE DOING?**
- Copywriting and editing of digital, print, advertorial, and blog content
- Assist with organization and implementation of Media hosting
- Assist with the creation and curation of content for Blue Mountain Resort social media channels
- On-the-ground support of marketing events and activations
- Update and maintain the Blue Mountain copy Style Guide
- Draft, review and edit marketing and communications copy
- Assist with administrative tasks pertaining to Public Relations, Social Media, Communications, and Corporate Social Responsibility
- Copywriting support and submissions to the Blue Mountain Resort Lift Line blog
- Attend Blue Mountain events to produce social media and blog content
On-hill production support for media hosting and/or photo and video shoots

**WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?**
- Must have post-secondary education or will be currently enrolled in a relative field.
- 1 to 2 years of professional experience in those fields preferred.
- A self-motivated and resourceful approach to problem-solving
- Self-directed use of time management to ensure deliverables are completed and deadlines are met.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and a willingness to ask for guidance when faced with competing priorities.
- Comfortable engaging inter-departmental contacts to help execute a task or project such as creating content to promote different business units, coordinating photo / video shoots using outlook bookings, Mountain Event Orders (MEOs)
- Comfortable approaching colleagues or guests to get information and content either in-person, online, or on the phone.
