GFL is looking for a Billing Clerk to join our team based out of our Toronto office As part of the Billing Operations Support Coordinator role for GFL Environmental, this position will be responsible for and involved in the daily functions of the billing system and providing support to the Corporate Call Center.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Produce centralized monthly billing and call center metrics, revenue analysis & reporting
- Produce accurate bills for residential, temporary and commercial customers
- Prevent and Track revenue leakage, take corrective/preventative action, and report on findings
- Lead Cycle Level Loading Project to maintain level loaded billing
- Prepare, maintain and distribute billing reports
- Conduct Ad-hoc analysis & reporting
- Accurately test and audit acquisition data as it relates to customer information & billing
- Research and analyze billing and revenue trends as well as any billing/customer related issues
- Process and analyze invoicing files and data for Corporate Accounts
- Work closely with branches to ensure information is communicated to Corporate Call Center regarding reroutes, price increases, mailers
- Responsible for training for any new staff members
- Provide branch support as it related to billing questions for both PC Scales & Tower
- Provide escalation support for Corporate Call Center Representatives as it relates to customers billing and service issues and concerns
- Follow PCI compliance with regards to payment processing
- Maintain consistent, prompt, and accurate service levels and performance metrics to promote Total Customer Satisfaction
- Answer incoming calls from multiple branch locations while following individual branch procedures for taking payments, routing deliveries and services, enrolling customers in e-billing, new services, and cancellations
- Perform backup support to the Contract Data Entry group
- Ensure the workspace area is neat and orderly and ensure proper greeting of all visitors.
- Conform in all respects with applicable federal, state/provincial, and local laws, regulations, ordinances and other orders and to all company policies, procedures, and directives from supervisors.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested by management.

**Requirements**:

- Two (2) year Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or Computer Science or higher required
- Two (2) years customer service call center experience required
- Two (2) years of work experience in Accounting (Collections, Billing, IT) role or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Waste Industry knowledge preferred
- CISCO Call Manager knowledge is preferred
- Operates standard office equipment (i.e. personal computer, laptop, printer, facsimile, copy machine, multi-function devices)
- Strong Tower, PC Scale, JD Edwards, MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlooks, Access, Project) experience a must

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to consolidate and integrate a wide range of inputs
- Ability to implement solutions to general and specific customers concerns
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment, meet time deadlines and perform under pressure
