NorQuesters are difference makers and we’re searching for people dedicated to making a difference to join the Faculty of Business, Environment, and Technology (FBET) Business team as an Instructional Assistant. We’re seeking an adaptable and innovative individual to provide one-on-one and in-person support to an Instructor. This important role will work closely with the Instructor, and Accessibility Services to provide support. This position will support an Instructor with visual materials, visual aids and other assistive devices in a classroom setting.

**How you’ll make a difference**:

- Provide one-to-one visual support to an Instructor in classrooms, offices, and meeting spaces.
- Assist an Instructor with locating and setting up classroom resources including tasks involving visual materials.
- Support and modify documents when documents are not compatible using assistive technology devices.
- Perform other administrative and operational duties as assigned.

**What you bring**:

- A two-year post-secondary diploma.
- 3 - 5 years related experience.
- Previous experience in an adult educational setting supporting students and/or adults with disabilities.
- Ability to follow and implement best practice guidelines.

**SALARY**:$26.06 - $33.87 hourly reflective upon what you bring - AKA your education and experience This position is a full-time casual assignment. It is also eligible for an additional 11.2% to compensate for holiday time.

This position requires an on-campus presence.
