The Activity Coordinator is accountable for the provision of recreation programming for the Residents in the Nursing Home. The incumbent plans, organizes and directs the recreation/leisure activity based therapeutic needs of the Residents.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Grade 12 education plus certification in a recognized activity coordinator program
- Innovative and creative planning and adapting programs appropriate for the elderly
- Active registration as a member in the Activity Directors Association of New Brunswick
- Must have knowledge and understanding of the aging process and related diseases/disorders
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment
- Excellent attendance record
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic is required
- High standard of personal dress and hygiene is essential.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: $20.68 per hour
