**The Opportunity**:
As a member of Training Department, the **Driver Trainer** will report directly to the Coordinator - Driver Training and
Compliance. This position will be located at our **Grande Prairie, AB** location. The primary function of this position is to successfully deliver driver training, conduct effective behind-the-wheel instruction, as well as provide training in various other courses necessary to Sanjel Energy Services employees.
**General Responsibilities**:
- Keeping current on all changes to driver training standards and ensuring the instructors are kept up to date with changes
- Provide hands on driver training for small and large groups of Sanjel employees
- Provide training classes as per Sanjel Energy's Driver Training Program
- Complete driver assessments and driver inspections as necessary
- Provide training for pre & post trip inspections
- Provide logbook training
- Maintain driver training progress reports
- Liaise with Managers on employee progress
- Provide feedback in relation to current driver training programs
**Qualifications**:
- Class 1 Drivers License
- Clean Driver Abstract
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a driver trainer
- Licensed driving instructor preferred, not required
- Solid knowledge of oilfield transportation equipment
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
- Proven experience in training individuals/groups
- Current certifications - First Aid / ODA / WHMIS / TDG / H2S
- Solid knowledge of 2007 Hours of Service
- Proficient with MS Office software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
