**Responsibilities**:

- Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for projects
- Develop a basis of estimate - Lump Sum, Target Price, Unit Rates
- Gather all information for the project team for the development of Proposal bid package
- Monitor the deadlines of the Bid and identify and resolve areas where the deadline may be breached
- Examine construction drawings and unusual or challenging conditions
- Perform material quantity and labor takeoffs from isometric drawings
- Prepare in MS Excel and submit attractive, accurate, and competitive bid packages with pricing options and suggested value engineering possibilities

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 3-5 years of experience within an Estimating Role
- Knowledge of industrial construction within field and mod yard locations
- Engineering (diploma or degree, CET, RET, P.Eng) or technical background in Insulation is preferred
- Possess proven construction methodologies
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Highly organized, efficient and prepared

**Work Conditions**:

- 40-hour work week 8 - 4:30 Monday to Friday
