**HOURS**

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

Performs maintenance, minor repairs and set-ups for functions where needed, for all Vaughan Public Library Board facilities. Identifies and informs supervisor of need for major repairs. May co-ordinate tender proposals for minor repairs/maintenance to library facilities and acts as a back-up courier. Subject to call-out at any time in response to emergency situations.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Secondary School Graduation Diploma.
- Minimum one year of related experience.
- Valid Ontario Driver’s License, in good standing.
- Requires periods of moderate physical strain sustained for four (4) or more hours each day and involving lifting, pulling and pushing of heavy and awkward objects.
- Co-ordination and speed in operating cleaning and maintenance equipment is required.
