Product Owner job description
We are seeking an experienced Product Owner responsible for setting, prioritizing, and evaluating the work generated by the software Scrum team. To achieve innovative software solutions supporting industry-leading product offerings.

Duties and responsibilities
Take the lead of scrum teams as the Product Owner
- Provide direction to Agile development team and other stakeholders on expected outcomes regarding stories, features and epics
- Define product vision, road-map and growth opportunities
- Plan and prioritize product feature backlog
- Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy
- Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories
- Work with Product Management team ensuring alignment with business strategy
- Lead the planning product release plans and set the expectation for delivery of new
- functionalities
- Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals
- Keep abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices

Requirements and qualifications
- Prior experience as a Product Owner
- Knowledge of Agile process and principles
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills
- Acute analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Experienced with the use of Jira

**Required Level of Education**:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Business OR Diploma in IT or Business with equivalent IT experience
