**The Role**:
As a People Development Coordinator at CLBC, you will promote and ensure easy access to learning opportunities for staff throughout the organization. You will be responsible for the coordination, communication, and administration of a wide range of learning and development activities, both online and face-to-face. You will also be responsible for the preparation of online and print learning promotional materials, and learning session materials, such as PowerPoint slide decks, handouts and workbooks. You will support the development and maintenance of the learning analytics and evaluation system, as well as the administrative functions of the People Development Team. You will support the People and Culture team and other CLBC departments, and learners at all levels of the organization located throughout the province.

Responsibilities include:

- In promoting learning opportunities, developing and disseminating program and course description information that is engaging and relevant
- Supporting the delivery of employee welcome and orientation workshops
- Maintaining and updating People Development and People Services Intranet Pages, and liaise as required with the Communications team
- Maintaining online learning and development materials such as videos, blogs, articles, e-blasts, job aids, and checklists to support a 70/20/10 learning model (70% of learning from job-related experiences, 20% from interactions with others, and 10% from formal educational events)
- Completing logístical requirements for events/learning, including booking internal and external venues, ordering required catering, equipment, and materials required for the event

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in the field of adult learning, Human Resources, Communications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a position responsible for coordinating learning activities and providing related administrative support
- An equivalent combination of relevant education/experience may be considered
- Demonstrated ability using Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook, SharePoint, and Adobe Design software

**Hybrid work **Combines on-site office work with flexibility to work from home within BC after passing a 6 month probationary period.

**Travel **This position can work from any CLBC offices in the Lower Mainland with occasional travel to the Head Office in Vancouver.
