Experienced Billing Clerk for a Busy Medical Clinic

Winnipeg, Canada Trucare Medical clinic and walk in Full time

Billing experience is a must, knowledge of CHR ( TelUS health ) is a big bonus.

**Duties**:

- Perform data entry and maintain accurate billing records
- Review and analyze billing information for accuracy and completeness
- Prepare and send invoices to customers
- Follow up on outstanding payments and resolve billing discrepancies
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner
- Reconcile accounts and ensure all payments are properly recorded
- Negotiate payment terms with customers when necessary
- Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary billing information
- Utilize financial software such as PeopleSoft to process billing transactions

**Requirements**:

- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform accurate data entry
- Excellent math skills for analyzing billing information and performing calculations
- Previous experience in a billing or financial services role preferred
- Proficient in using computer software, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with PeopleSoft or similar financial software is a plus
- Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective customer service interactions
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
