**About the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL)**
A league created by Canadians for Canadians with a mission to develop Canadian players, coaches, sports
executives, and referees, the CEBL boasts the highest percentage of Canadian players of any pro league in the
country with 75% of its rosters being Canadian and a record 12 players with NBA experience in 2024. Players also
bring experience from the NBA G League, top international pro leagues, the Canadian National team program,
NCAA programs, as well as U SPORTS and CCAA. Twenty-two players have signed NBA contracts following a CEBL
season, and numerous CEBL players attend NBA G League training camps every year. The CEBL season runs from
May through August with games broadcast live on CEBL+ powered by BetVictor, TSN, TSN+, RDS, Game+, Next Level
Sports & Entertainment and Courtside1891. More information about the CEBL is available at CEBL.ca and

The league head office is in search of a creative self-starter who can join the league’s best-in-class marketing and

brand team as a Digital Marketing intern during the CEBL’s longest season to date this summer. The selected

manner to national and international media, across social media and digital channels.

**Please note that this internship opportunity is for academic credit only**

**Responsibilities**: (Included but not limited to)
- Effective assistance in developing and managing digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels
- Assist with weekly campaign reporting and analysis for each team
- Assist with ideation and development of campaigns for teams and the league
- Assist with campaign budget tracking
- Support the Director, Digital Marketing & Data in all digital marketing, communications, reporting, and
- research-oriented tasks to identify campaign trends, opportunities and areas of improvement
- Work in collaboration with the CEBL marketing team on monthly e-newsletter development and
- deployment
- General administrative, business-based and event support tasks for the league’s head office as assigned
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- Currently studying sports marketing, business, sports management or a related field with an approval by

your school to receive course credit for the internship
- Back-end experience maintaining and updating websites considered an asset
- Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and trends
- Valid Driver’s License
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office Applications
- Proficient with the Google Suite of tools

- A proven ability and excellence in writing
- A proven work ethic with experience working in the sport industry or a related creative field
- Able to meet deadlines as assigned in a very fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and desire to follow a project throughout completion
- Excellent in communication and strong listening skills
- Able to work autonomously as well as in a team environment
- Prior experience in digital marketing preferred

**Availability**:

- Monday - Friday (9 AM - 5 PM)
- Some evening and weekend availability may be required
- Academic term (January - April)
