**The Human Resources Coordinator is an associate that assists with the managing of the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department, maintaining an associate-oriented, high-performance culture that emphasizes empowerment and engagement, with exceptional service.**:
**Role and Responsibilities**:

- Handles all general inquiries of employees and assists with all day-to-day administrative functions of the department, while maintaining a welcoming, professional environment
- Welcomes all new hires through a smooth and seamless onboarding process.
- Corresponds with payroll and other departments regarding employee inquires and/or payroll related updates or changes.
- Communicating with field and non-field employees, HR, and benefit partners regarding all aspects of benefits administration (health and dental insurance, and RRSP) in adherence to benefit policies and procedures.
- Accurately maintains associate information in HRIS system including training records.
- Partners with Colleges & Universities, participates in career fairs in promoting FER-PAL Construction Ltd as a welcoming and supportive place of work.
- Prepare quarterly Newsletters, and other employee communications and announcements are needed.
- Works with the HR team to establish an effective communication channel between the company and all employees.
- Actively listens to employees to effectively exchange information and provide solutions as required.
- Coordinates with Health and Safety to maintain the necessary documents, reporting and updates as needed and required by law.
- Assists and facilitates with employee training programs including health & safety, new hire, and back to work orientations as well as brand standards, as required.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications and Education Requirements***:

- Minimum of 2 year in a Human Resources role
- Payroll and benefit administration an asset
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with associates at all levels
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently, and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational, researching and planning skills.
- Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
