Business Development Representative

**The Company**

**The Role**
The Business Development Representative will play an integral role in facilitating business growth through negotiations, contract management, and customer relationship building. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, basic transactional and legal acumen, and excellent interpersonal skills.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead and manage customer relationships for business transactions, partnerships, and contracts.
- Identify, contact, and generate new relationships.
- Draft, review, and modify contracts and agreements to protect the company’s interests.
- Attend conferences and industry events as needed, including international travel.
- Manage and deepen relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Travel to meet clients when required.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support project needs and relationships.
- Develop a deep understanding of market trends, competitors, and customer needs in the lithium market.
- Generate reports, maintain CRM and provide insights for management decision-making.
- Other related duties as applicable from time to time.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Law, or related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in business development, sales, or contract management.
- Demonstrated clear communication skills with a focus on strategy and negotiation.
- Have significant experience in drafting and reviewing contracts for M&A and service providers.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience with international markets is an asset.
- Previous experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Excell in Microsoft Office Suite products.
