**Equipment Operator 3 - Hydrovac/Flusher Truck**:
**(4-day work week )**

The City of Mission is currently recruiting for a full-time Equipment Operator 3 to join our team of professionals in the Engineering & Public Works Department. In this position, your primary responsibility is operating and performing minor maintenance on the City’s hydrovac/flusher truck.

The hydrovac/flusher truck operator works with both the utilities and roads and drainage divisions at Public Works and is responsible for excavating around water lines, sewer lines and other underground utilities. You will routinely flush storm and sanitary sewer lines and respond to blockages. You will also be required to maintain basic records and reports.

The 2023 hourly rate of pay for this position is $36.48 plus a comprehensive benefits package including the Municipal Pension Plan. The hours of work are Tuesday to Friday from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm (72 hours bi-weekly).

Education : Other trades certificate or diploma
Experience : 1 year to less than 2 years
