**Job description**

JBS Equipment is a rapidly growing manufacturing company located in beautiful **Mission, BC**. We are looking for an **Industrial Painter** to help us paint world-class manure spreaders, forage trailers, bedding flingers, and other related agriculture and custom products.

**PRIMARY DUTIES**:

- **Paint** / **Surface prep**: Masking, Caulking, Sanding, etc.
- Spray all parts to automotive OEM quality.
- Operate and maintain spray equipment including general equipment troubleshooting.
- Ability to understand and read and interpret material safety and datasheet. An understanding of drawings, sketches, and/or blueprints is a benefit.
- Assist and instruct team members when needed.
- This position is self-managed
- Paint parts as per production requirements.

**QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED**:

- Must have **5 years** of previous industrial equipment painting experience.
- Must have knowledge of safety equipment and the chemicals used in the department.
- Ability to quote jobs.
- Management and leadership experience is an asset.
- Must have base/clear experience.
- Minor Body work abilities.
- Must have knowledge of mixing of paints as per manufacturer instructions.
- Must have wet sand/polishing experience.
- Must have a valid BC Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Must be fluent in written and spoken English.

**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**:

- Regularly required to stand; walk; sit; climb ladders;
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 to 50 lbs
- Occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 lbs with assistance
- Ability to kneel, bend, squat, push, pull, and reach above and below waist

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $30.00-$42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
