Plant Supervisor

**POSITION PURPOSE**:
Assist Plant Manager and implement corporate Process systems at the plant level. Business technical and quality initiatives are properly maintained. Accountable for the Health and Safety of all Fusion Thetics employee’s, housekeeping is at a high level focus for the entire plant to ensure Fusion Thetics is safe and efficient.

We are looking for someone with a mechanical background in extrusion and Supervisor experience.

**PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES**:

- Ensure shift to shift communication
- Manage Equipment and Employee’s to best complete schedules of production, shipping and receiving on time.
- Maintenance of all equipment using the practice of preventative maintenance.
- Company must be in compliance with all regulatory keep up dated and make recommendations to the company of changes.
- Work in accordance with Fusion Thetics safety and plant policies. Problem Solving, Continuous Improvement, Housekeeping
- Ensure machines are safely guarded as per CSA Standard Guide lines
- Ensure use of proper safety equipment when required
- Creating and implementing ongoing Fusion Thetics - SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) WI (Work Instructions) create a train the trainer environment.
- Annual performance reviews for each employee

**_Hours of Work: _**

**Monday to Wednesday 7:pm to 7:am Thursday 3:pm to 11:pm**

**_Summary: _**

Under the supervision of the Plant Manager, the Supervisor responsibility is the safe and efficient operation of the machinery.

The Supervisor will be accountable for all aspects of quality, and productivity on night shift. The position will also be responsible to work with his/her shift and the maintenance dept, Manage effective use of machine time and efficiency to achieve the company’s long term goals and customer service levels.

**Salary**: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 12 hour shift
- Day shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

- Fergus, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Work Location: One location

Expected start date: 2023-01-30
