**Details**:Part time, Evenings, 22 hours per week, 3-week rotating schedule

**Schedule**:
**Week 1**: 4:00pm - 9:00pm Saturday, Sunday; 4:00pm - 8:00pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday

**Week 2**: 4:00pm - 9:00pm Friday, Thursday; 4:00pm - 8:00pm Saturday, Sunday, Wednesday

**Week 3**: 4:00pm - 8:00pm Friday, Wednesday, Thursday; 4:00pm - 9:00pm Monday, Tuesday

**Pay Scale**:$19.05 - $23.10 per hour

**Location**:McQueen Place Lodge, 10938 -142 Street NW, Edmonton, AB, T5N 2P8

**Typical Duties**:
Kitchen duties include: food preparation, portioning and labeling food, cleaning kitchen areas, dining areas, and equipment, dishwashing, preparing meals, beverages, sandwiches, salads and snacks, peeling and chopping vegetables.

Dining Room duties include: preparing the beverage cart, greeting the residents, serving meals and beverages, setting and clearing tables, cleaning the dining areas, assisting residents at the buffet table as needed, assisting with meal attendance checks, and other site-specific duties as assigned.

**Experience/Education Preferences**:

- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal are required.
- Experience in food preparation is an asset.
- Experience as a server in a dining room is preferred.

**Other Requirements**:

- Strong customer service skills, including the ability to interact with everyone in a respectful manner.
- Ability to read and follow standard recipes and work in a sanitary manner.
- Ability to demonstrate responsible judgement in problem solving.
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.

**The successful applicant will be required to undergo a criminal records check and be fully vaccinated against Covid-19**

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $19.05-$23.10 per hour
