Digital Marketing Intern

LightLeaf Solar designs and manufactures high-performance solar panels for things that move - RV, marine, and automotive. We are a growing team of cheerful, down-to-earth people eager to make ripples in the industry. We are looking for a multi-talented marketer to promote our products and handle creative day-to-day tasks. This flexible position is **30hrs/week** during the summer and typically **20hrs/week** during the rest of the year.

**Start Date**: Immediate

**Location**: 2225 1st Ave N, Saskatoon

**Responsibilities include**:

- Posting to social media typically 1-3 times per week (IG, FB, LinkedIn, YouTube, forums)
- Preparing content calendar
- Writing engaging, relevant copy (post captions, blogs, ads, etc.)
- Updating inventory on website, upgrading the website itself
- Running ad campaigns across multiple platforms
- Creating marketing collateral (pamphlets, installation guides, etc.) inline with company brand
- Responding to customer inquiries, speaking as the company across multiple platforms
- Creating and procuring physical marketing collateral like company merch, promotional material, etc.
- Capturing photo and video content if in Saskatoon
- Running ongoing backend tasks, such as maintaining repositories, file organisation, competitor and ambassador research

**Qualifications**:

- Must _be proficient using the following softwares
- Canva, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop
- Meta Ads/Business Manager, Google Ads/Analytics
- Squarespace (including managing physical inventory)
- Google Suite
- Hootsuite is an asset but not required
- Are organised, proactive, creative, and communicative
- Have a can-do attitude, eager to solve problems
- Are experienced in similar roles or a marketing student/graduate with relevant knowledge
- Are tech savvy and able to pick up new softwares quick
- Have patience and are tolerant to occasional chaos/busy periods
- Are excited about working in a casual, fun, small office environment (pizza parties and coffee runs are no stranger to us)
- Interested in being part of the solution to global climate change

This is initially a part-time position (approximately 20 - 30 hours per week with flexible hours), working towards full-time 40 hours per week later in 2023, as our company growth permits.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 4 months

**Salary**: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
