Treatment Coordinator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Treatment Coordinator to join our team. As a Treatment Coordinator, you will be responsible for assisting patients in understanding their treatment plans and coordinating their dental care. Your knowledge of electronic medical records, medical terminology, and dental office procedures will be essential in providing excellent patient care.

**Responsibilities**:

- Review treatment plans with patients, explaining procedures, costs, and insurance coverage
- Schedule appointments and coordinate treatment timelines
- Obtain necessary patient information and update electronic dental records
- Verify insurance coverage and assist with claims processing
- Collect payments and provide payment options to patients
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient operations

**Experience**:

- Previous experience working in a dental office setting is required
- Proficiency in using electronic dental records systems (preferably Dentrix)
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and dental procedures
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on patient satisfaction
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
