Backline Manager

Have you ever wanted to be a part of Canada's most important discovery music festival? Well now is your chance We’re looking for a dynamic and knowledgeable Backline Manager to take the lead on making sure all of our venues are equipped with everything they need to present a successful NXNE show.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Reviewing all backline needs and ensuring the appropriate equipment is procured
- Maintaining an accurate inventory of equipment
- Delivering equipment to appropriate venues
- Setting up equipment at venues
- Acting as liaison between venue staff and the festival
- Returning equipment to appropriate vendors
- Troubleshoot any issues before, during and post festival
- Other duties as required

**Required Skills**:
This job is a well rounded position, interacting at all levels and requires:

- A high level of technical knowledge
- Skills needed to interact with others in a team setting
- Strong leadership skills
- Very strong solution skills
- Unrestricted driver's license with a clean driving record
- Comfortable driving a cargo van in city traffic

**Job Types**: Fixed term contract, Casual
Contract length: 1 week

**Salary**: Up to $18.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)

Shift availability:

- Night Shift (preferred)
- Day Shift (preferred)

Work Location: In person
