**Who You Are**:
Reporting to the CEO, and as an integral member of the Leadership Team, the VP, Operations primary focus will be to create sustainable growth while also evaluating and optimizing business processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer experience across multiple business units. If you have experience solving complex business problems and holding business leaders accountable to agreed to business goals and outcomes through open, honest, and direct dialogue, then this is the right opportunity for you.
**Responsibilities**: Accountable for the financial results of Australian Vaporizers and Mikra Cellular Sciences business units. Develop growth strategies with clear actions and outcomes to expand operations, increase revenue, and boost market reach. Monitor key performance indicators (KPI’s) and financial metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement. Own the process execution of all Operational functions including delivery and execution of all contracted services, monthly/quarterly reviews as well as tracking and reporting key metrics. Maintain frequent communication and contact across all business units. Actively track financial performance to budget and address any issues to achieve corporate financial objectives. Develop the operational knowledge and management capabilities of your team and build a succession plan by guiding team members in their career development. Continuously monitor the overall performance of each business unit and make appropriate changes as needed. Qualifications: 5 plus years leading scale up companies with a hyper focus on growth. Experience working in a remote environment with excellent time and people management skills as this position requires leadership in both Australia and North America. Sales experience with B2B and Brick and Mortar. Ability to lead and motivate teams effectively. Capacity to develop and execute business strategies. Proficiency in managing day-to-day operations efficiently. Understanding of financial metrics and budget management. Post secondary degree in business administration, marketing, Finance. MBA is preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey ideas clearly. Capability to identify and address operational challenges. Experience implementing digital marketing/sales strategies. Ability to analyze data and leverage insights for informed decision-making.
