Job Summary
The Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science (FEAS) at Queen’s University provides world-class engineering education at the undergraduate and graduate levels and drives ground-breaking research in a wide variety of engineering fields. The world’s problems are our adrenalin, provoking our relentless drive to explore, decode, and reframe. We blend curiosity with a cross-disciplinary approach to ask “what if?”, forging ahead to find solutions for the 21st century and beyond. We ask not only how to build and construct better structures, but how to speed the flow of information, protect the natural environment, propel medical progress, and eliminate the gap between what is and what can be.
Aboriginal Access to Engineering (AAE) is committed to increasing the number of Indigenous engineers in Canada. By promoting Math, Science, Engineering and Technology to elementary and high school Indigenous students, supporting the efforts of their teachers, and enabling access to post-secondary study, the program provides a suite of supports aimed at encouraging Indigenous youth to become qualified engineers. A critical component to supporting our students is through transitions; both into their academic careers at Queen’s, and upon graduating into their post academic careers (either in industry, academia, or other areas).
Come join our diverse, inquisitive minds, and turn wonder into reality.
