Reporting to the Director, Hospital Information Systems (HIS) Analytics, Digital Health Transformation and Training, the Manager, HIS Training, is an experienced leader who will manage the development and delivery of all HIS training curriculum and classes for the HIS implementation at Osler. The Manager will be part of the project leadership team and will be responsible for planning, coordinating and executing training programs aimed at ensuring effective utilization of HIS software.
Accountabilities:
- Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to identify training requirements based on organizational goals and the HIS implementation
- Design comprehensive training curricula and materials tailored to user groups (nurses, physicians, clinical, non-clinical, etc.)
- Conduct engaging and informative training sessions for end-users, both in-person and through virtual platforms
- Ensure training sessions adhere to best practice and are aligned with HIS recommended workflows
- Implement assessment methods to measure training effectiveness and gather feedback from participants
- Analyze training evaluation data to identify areas for improvement and make necessary adjustments to training programs
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of training materials, e-learnings and tip sheets for reference and future training sessions
- Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization to promote understanding and adoption of the HIS
- Provide excellent leadership skills, with strong ability to coach and mentor team members through each phase of the HIS project
- Provision multiple training rooms to provide effective training
- Organize resources to complete project tasks on time and within budget
- Work closely with the HIS leadership team to evaluate and prioritize project priorities
- Liaise with other leaders within the project to ensure that configuration decisions are made on time, adequately documented and then implemented into the HIS configuration
- Collaborate extensively with various departments, including clinical operations, quality, professional practice and IT, to align digital initiatives with broader organizational goals
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for innovation, optimization and adoption
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in health care administration, information technology, Education, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in training management, preferably within health care or IT sectors
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively
- Must be an enthusiastic and creative leader with the ability to inspire and motivate people and have a proven ability to develop and foster strong stakeholder relationships
- Must be successful in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment and be results-oriented

**Additional Information**
This is a Hybrid role. Roles that function remotely, but require essential, regular onsite weekly work
Temporary full time role, 24 month contract
Annual Salary:
Minimum: $113.061
Maximum: $141,336
