**1. JOB OBJECTIVES**

The Administrative Assistant will work closely with the inspection team to prepare reports following visits by technicians to industrial and commercial buildings in the greater Montreal area. The Assistant will work in a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail. The goal is to elevate the Administrative Assistant to a coordinator position within the department.

**2. PRIMARY FUNCTIONS**
- Perform data entry and update inspection reports
- Verify the accuracy of the reports before submitting them
- Ensure reports are complete and in good order
- Maintain spreadsheets of completed and pending reports
- Any other related duties.

**3. ACADEMIC TRAINING**

Secondary 5 diploma

**4. EXPERIENCE, COMPENTENCIES AND APTITUDES**
- Knowledge of the fire protection industry (an asset)
- Experienced and fast at data entry
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Resourceful, ambitious and hardworking
- Reliable, conscientious and has common sense
- Organized and able to manage priorities effectively
- Languages: proficient in French and English, written and spoken

**1. OBJECTIFS DU POSTE**

L’adjoint administratif travaillera en étroite collaboration avec l'équipe d'inspection pour préparer les rapports suite aux visites des techniciens aux bâtiments industriels et commerciales dans la grande région de Montréal. L’adjoint effectuera ses tâches dans un environnement à rythme rapide qui nécessite un bon souci du détail. L’objectif est d’élever l’adjoint administratif à un poste de coordonnateur au sein du département.

**2.** **PRINCIPALES RESPONSABILITÉS**
- Effectuer la saisie des données et mise à jour des rapports d'inspection
- Vérifier l'exactitude des rapports avant de les soumettre
- Assurer que les rapports sont complets et en bonne et due forme
- Maintenir les feuilles de calcul des rapports terminés et à compléter
- Toutes autres tâches connexes.

Secondaire 5 complété

**4. EXPÉRIENCE, COMPÉTENCES ET APTITUDES**
- Connaissance du secteur de la protection incendie (un atout)
- Expérimenté et rapide à la saisie de données
- Souci du détail et de la précision
- Débrouillard, ambitieux et travaillant
- Fiable, consciencieux et doté de bon sens
- Organisé et capable de gérer efficacement les priorités
- Langues: compétent en français et en anglais, écrit et oral.
