**Job Description and Qualifications**

Air Products Canada Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Air Products and Chemicals Inc., has manufacturing and distribution operations in Quebec, Ontario, and Alberta. Air Products core industrial gas business provides atmospheric and process gases serving a variety of customers in 50+ countries, including refining, chemical, gasification, metals, electronics, manufacturing, food and beverage, welding, and healthcare.

Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. (NYSE:APD), a Fortune 500 manufacturer of industrial gases, has an immediate opening for an Employee Relations Manager. This will be based out of our Edmonton, AB Region.

Be the Face of HR and bring the desired employee experience to life by partnering with HR Leaders, CoEs, and HR Partners on people practices and process execution.

Job Summary:
**Responsibilities**:

- Providing information to employees on counseling, benefits and other services and programs available to them
- Collecting and interpreting data
- Observing and inspecting the physical workplace and suggesting improvements to site leadership
- Creating and conducting training for employees
- Investigating workplace situations
- Helping with the recruitment and hiring processes
- Addressing complaints from employees
- Improving HR policies and the way the company treats employees to improve team relationships

To develop solid relationships and improve employee satisfaction, Employee Relations Managers need several prerequisite skills and qualifications, including:
Min Requirements:

- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3+ years hands on experience as an HR Generalist

Preferred Requirements:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources
- Heavy emphasis on Employee Relations in a manufacturing or distribution setting
- Demonstrable knowledge of employment law.
- Workday or other HRIS experience
- EEO/harassment investigations and general workplace complaint resolution
